Yahya Golmohammadi’s reaction to Hassan Abbasi’s words
According to the report of Mehr news agency and quoted by the online economy, the Persepolis football team will face Tabriz Tractorsazi tomorrow at 17:30 at Azadi Stadium, which is empty of spectators. Yahya Golmohammadi said in a press conference before this match: “I don’t have anything special to say about the game because we are not in a good mood these days.” He continued:
When people are upset because of recent events, talking about football and racing can’t change anything. The game is without spectators and we are in the days when most people are upset because of the recent events.
The head coach of the Persepolis football team continued:
Our only goal is to be able to play well in the match against Tractor to make the people happy by winning an important victory.

Yahya Golmohammadi continued: “We mourn the death of our loved ones. both police forces and young people who died in the recent events. All these are the children of Iran and the children of this land. In this situation, talking about football is not important.”
The head coach of Persepolis football team noted: “We hope these issues and events will end as soon as possible so that we can return to the days and the normal state of life.” He said about the ban imposed by the disciplinary committee for holding this game without spectators.
The management of the club should talk about this but no one understood why they voted this way. We didn’t have spectators in Tabriz and nothing happened from our spectators, but I don’t know why the ruling was against us.
At the end, referring to Hassan Abbasi, he emphasized once again: “This gentleman must be alert. Bad things will happen to him if he ever talks about footballers again. That’s why I ask him not to make these mistakes again.”
