Users’ reaction to the interruption of mobile internet during the national entrance exam
According to the report of Hamrah-e-Awal Public Relations and at the request of the National Assessment and Education Organization, the decision was made to cut off the Internet of mobile operators until 12:30 in the areas where the national exam was held.
At the same time, during a visit to some of the exam areas, the head of the assessment organization announced the arrest of the sellers of fake entrance exam questions and said that some entrance exam candidates were deprived of the entrance exam because they had a mobile phone.
These conditions and the disruption of the Internet to prevent fraud provoked reactions. In this article, we will deal with users’ feedback on disconnecting the Internet along with the entrance exam time. But below is an overview of some of the reactions:
One user wrote in a humorous statement:
“Your orders for #Internet_Connection will be accepted.”
– Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Hamed Bidi, the founder and CEO of the campaign, also wrote in response to the situation:
Your incompetence of the officials in providing security has reached such a level that even when they do not have the supply to prevent fraud, you should cut off the internet ?! #Connect_Internet has become so popular for you ?!
Then Mr. Wazir says that no one in the Islamic Republic is looking to cut off the Internet!
Another user wrote:
Only in Iran, which is a ridiculous organization #test He can order to disconnect the Internet.
Another user wrote:
Shouldn’t this have been announced before ?! All nations are mines except mines. Many software (applications) are dependent on mobile internet. Why did they confuse people? In an integrated risk management system, not everyone can make any mistake they want.
A user with a different position wrote:
In my opinion, in Iran, a bit of the value of the entrance exam has been lost due to the criticisms leveled at it, and this has made the disconnection of mobile internet in the areas of exams seem so special. The special days of the entrance exam should be like the special days of national celebrations or elections.
Another user wrote:
For issues such as entrance exams, they easily cut off or disrupt the Internet. Do you expect him not to do the same for more important events?
