Recently, the new Poco phone, Poco M5, has been seen in several databases, which indicates the release of this phone in the near future.
Some time ago, Poco launched its Poco F4 5G phone in India and this smartphone was surprisingly well received by the public. Now it seems that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is working on a new device called the Poco M5.
The name of this smartphone is confirmed by the IMEI database. Also, this phone has been seen in several certificate registration sites, which indicates that it is going to be launched soon in India and global markets.

The presence of Poco M5 in several databases
The reliable source related to Xiaomi news, Xiaomiui, was the first media that was aware of the existence of this smartphone in the statistical databases. The publication initially noticed the presence of an unknown smartphone with model number 22071219CG and code name Rock and Stone on several websites, and after looking up the model number in the IMEI, it was found to be the Poco M5 smartphone.
In addition, a smartphone with the same model number has been observed in various certificate registration databases such as FCC, BIS and IMDA. Based on the information published so far, this smartphone uses the MIUI 13 user interface based on Android 12. This phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz. The Poco M5 is also revealed to be a 4G device.
Poco M5 is not the only one in this series of Poco phones and Poco M5s has also recently been spotted in the IMDA certification database. It is said that this smartphone will be released in the market under the name of Redmi Note 10S. According to available information, this phone will be equipped with a Mediatek Helio G95 processor and will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution.
There’s also a quad camera setup on the back of the Poco M5s, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Probably, this phone will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery and will have 33W fast charging.
These two smartphones will be released in the mid-range segment and will probably cost less than $160. However, Poco has not officially confirmed these two phones and we hope to know more details about these phones in the coming days.
