Oppo unveiled the Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Oppo Reno 8 Pro Plus in early June. These phones were unveiled and launched in China; But they are not yet sold in global markets. The good news is that receiving an FCC certification will signal its release in the near future.
The Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro will be available in India by the end of July. It is also said that Oppo Reno 8 Pro Plus, which is available in China, is sold in global markets as Reno 8 Pro.
The global version of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G was also recently seen in Geekbench, announcing the existence of a 8100 Max Dimension chip. This is exactly what the rebranded Pro and Pro Plus were all about.
Details revealed of the Oppo Reino 8 Pro 5G at the FCC
This phone has recently received the FCC certificate with the model number CPH2357. The Renault 8 Pro has been seen on various platforms so far, and it looks like we’ll have to wait for it to launch in global markets soon.
The FCC list shows that this device has a 4500 mAh battery and supports SUPERVOOC 80 watt fast charge. This device runs Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.1 user interface by default.
The Oppo Reino 8 Pro 5G measures 161.2 x 74.2 x 7.34 mm and weighs 183 grams.
Other specifications disclosed in the FCC include support for 5G, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC.
Specifications of Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G
The device is equipped with an 8100-MHz chip and MariSilicon X to optimize camera performance. The Renault 8 Pro is expected to ship with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 memory.
Other features of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the back of the phone and on the camera module, there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro. The selfie camera is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709. This smartphone is powered by a 4500 mAh battery and is charged with an 80 watt fast charging system.
