Recently, information has been released about a Motorola flagship phone equipped with a powerful processor, which some believe is the specs of the Motorola Edge 40 Pro.
A new report by Evan Bless, a well-known analyst on Motorola’s roadmap for the coming years, reveals Motorola’s roadmap for flagship phones in the coming years, while also showing that the company is working on several new handsets for this year.

It is said that the code name of Motorola’s new flagship in the Edge series is Tundra, which will probably be offered with the Snapdragon 888 Plus chip. Devon Vaui and Victoria are the code names for other future Motorola handsets. The report also reveals the specs of the Motorola Bronco and Canyon, which are said to be the next generation of flagship phones with the powerful 2nd generation Snapdragon 8 chipset. It is possible that the Bronco and Canyon will eventually appear in the global market as the Edge 40 Pro.

Claimed specifications of Motorola Edge 40 Pro
According to Bless, Motorola Canyon and Bronco are the next generation of Motorola flagships with similar specifications. The Bronco is said to be from Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship mobile chipset, codenamed SM8550. This chip is most likely Qualcomm’s 2nd generation Snapdragon 8, which has not been introduced yet.
The Canyon model has an FHD Plus display that supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The front-facing camera will be 60-megapixel, and the rear-facing camera will include 50-megapixel main and 50-megapixel wide-angle sensors that can act as a macro sensor. It will also likely feature a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. This model may be introduced as Edge 40 Pro.
The Bronco is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. This model may have an FHD Plus screen and will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The Bronco rear camera settings will also include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide / macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth gauge sensor.
The report also claims that Motorola will launch its rumored Felix and Juno handsets. The former will have a rotatable vertical display, while the latter will follow in the footsteps of the Motorola Razr 3, which will offer key features such as a 144Hz display and the Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 Plus chip.
