The spokesman of the National Headquarters for Dealing with Corona announced today that the AstraZeneca vaccine has been removed from the injection cycle. The reason for this issue is stated by this official, the sufficient number of Sinopharm vaccines and Iranian vaccines.

Removal of AstraZeneca vaccine from the injection process in Iran
Today, in his media interview, Abbas Shiraogen once again emphasized the action of the people to receive the reminder vaccine and said:
The use of masks in airplanes, trains, subways, buses, in places of pilgrimage and religious delegations has been emphasized. Sinopharm vaccine and Iranian vaccines are available in sufficient quantity in the country, AstraZeneca vaccine is out of the injection cycle.
According to the spokesperson of the National Headquarters for Dealing with Corona, people who have been 6 months since their last dose of vaccine should receive a reminder dose of the vaccine as soon as possible. Also, this official emphasized that proper measures should be taken to ventilate schools and universities and further said that no decision has been made regarding traffic restrictions. He said:
Vaccination centers should be more active. Border health care should be pursued more seriously. Due to the serious increase in the number of infected, hospitalized and deceased people of Corona, it is mandatory to use masks in trains, vehicles, buses, pilgrimage centers and religious ceremonies.
According to the spokesman of the National Headquarters for the fight against Corona, the injection of the Corona vaccine is expected to provide services in addition to the negative test, but the vaccination is still not mandatory and is more of an incentive aspect.
