Pixel 7 Ultra is the flagship product of Google
A few weeks after the full disclosure Noting phone 1Thanks to whistleblowers’ access to the source code of Nothing OS, the famous developer Kuba Wojciechowski once again carried out a similar operation on Google, and thanks to the information he obtained, we now know almost everything about the cameras of the two new Google phones, tablets We know the new Google and even the first folding device of this company!
A few months have passed since the first time we heard information about a Google tablet equipped with a smart pen. According to the source code information, the codename of this device is T6 and it has two IMX355 cameras (the 8-megapixel selfie sensor used in the Pixel 6) on the back panel.
According to this information, the code name of Google’s first folding device is Pitpit or Passport, which uses the original 50 megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor for the main camera, like the Pixel 6. Of course, this sensor may be combined with the IMX363 sensor used in the Pixel 6a or the 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor (IMX386) used in the Pixel 6. As for the selfie camera, the 8-megapixel IMX355 sensor will probably be used.
According to previous information, in the case of Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which are known by the code names C10 and P10, we should see the same camera combination as the previous generation. This means that the main camera is the same 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor, and probably even the 12-megapixel IMX386 ultra-wide sensor will still be used.
The Pixel 7 Pro, however, has three sensors, the same 50- and 12-megapixel main and ultrawide cameras, plus a new Samsung GM1 telephoto sensor. As a reminder, it should be said that the Pixel 6 Pro had a 48-megapixel IMX586 camera. Of course, the leaker of this information believes that the new camera is not particularly different from the previous generation.
As for the selfie camera, both devices are equipped with an 11-megapixel Samsung 3J1 sensor, and according to a report, the Pixel 7 may finally be equipped with a 4K selfie camera.
But among all these, there is a strange case and a third device with the code name Lynx or L10 is mentioned, which could probably be the superior version of Pixel 7 phones with an extension like Ultra! Of course, this is not the first time that this rumor has been published, and previously 9to5Google also reported in a report that Google is working on a new product with a different display.
Thanks to Kuba Wojciechowski, we now know that the Pixel 7 Ultra has the same 50MP primary sensor as Samsung’s GN1, but for the second sensor it uses the IMX787, which is a large 64MP 1.3-inch sensor compared to other 64MP sensors. There are more available in the market.
So this is the first time that a smartphone from Google has two large sensors, and this means that in this new phone, Google has paid special attention to the quality of photography. The developer also says that the Pixel 7 Ultra is equipped with a new 13-megapixel IMX712 sensor in the selfie camera department, which can be far more efficient than the 11-megapixel camera of the Pro and normal versions.
According to the developer, Lynx will be only a test device with which Google will evaluate the photography performance of its smartphones. But the release of the Ultra version after the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro cannot be completely ruled out. It seems that the existence of an Ultra version with these features will make Google fans happy; Especially since the new pixels are supposed to use old sensors in the market.
