A member of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Shuari Majlis says that since the time of granting shares to the survivors is specified in the budget; The assignment of the remaining equity shares will be determined by the end of the year.

Mehdi Taghiani, the spokesman of the economic commission of the parliament, says that since the budget bill specifies the time of granting equity shares to the survivors, the status of these people should be determined by the end of the year.

The duty of the survivors of equity shares

Mr. Taghiani, in explaining the latest situation of granting justice shares to the survivors, said that in the first stage, people covered by support organizations such as Welfare and Imam Relief Committee, who are left over from receiving shares, are given priority. Taghani added:

According to the identification done, about 4 million people covered by the support institutions are left to receive equity shares, which will be awarded to them in the first stage.

Mr. Taghiani said that there were 2 issues in providing equity to the survivors; One is the amount of shares the government has that has been resolved. The next issue was how this amount of shares would be presented to the survivors. The spokesman of the Economic Commission of the Parliament also said:

One method is indirect presentation, that is, through the provincial equity share cooperative, and the other method is direct, that is, the individual is granted a certain amount of shares of a company.

Mehdi Taghiani added:

Currently, there is a discussion about the process of providing justice shares to the survivors, and it is the responsibility of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange to make a decision about this.

In response to a question about the time of granting equity shares to the survivors, the representative of Isfahan in the parliament said that because this issue is foreseen in the budget bill, the status of all the survivors’ shares should be determined by the end of this year.
