Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner protest against Instagram changes

Following Instagram’s changes, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian wrote on their pages: “Instagram again and stop trying to be TikTok. We just want to see beautiful pictures of our friends on this platform. Sincerely, from all users.”

In fact, these famous friends are not the only ones protesting these changes, and other social network influencers are not at all satisfied with the changes of Insta and Facebook that have been created to compete with Tik Tok. Most people also agree with celebrities and are unhappy with the changes made in these two platforms.

The impact of these two successful women on people and their thoughts is undeniable. Kylie Jenner with 360 million followers and Kim Kardashian with 326 million followers have been active on Instagram for many years. The posts and everything that these two celebrities share on this social network are spread in the blink of an eye, and this is quite logical considering the number of their followers.

For example, in 2018, Kylie Jenner posted on Twitter that she was no longer interested in using Snapchat after a redesign. Immediately after his tweet, Snapchat’s stock fell 8%, or about $1 billion.

In the meantime, last week, Meta also introduced the new version of Facebook, which had a section called “Home” added to it and was very similar to the For you section of the Tik Tok application. In fact, like Tik Tok, Facebook displays an endless scroll of user’s favorite content in the Home tab.

This new section works based on a special algorithm and according to the behavior and interests of users. Facebook’s main goal of creating such a section, just like Tik Tok, is to keep people entertained as much as possible and make them spend more hours on this social network.

Instagram has also changed a lot during this time. For example, any video that is less than 15 minutes will automatically become a reel and will be seen by more people by appearing on other people’s screens. In addition, Instagram added two options, Favorites and Following, to this application in March of this year.

As you know, by selecting the Following option like the previous version of Instagram, only the posts of the people you follow will be displayed on your page, but the Favorites option will also display the posts of the people you have not followed but according to your taste and interest. Also, Instagram announced in an official statement that it plans to display more posts based on users’ interests on their personal page in the future by creating other options.
