
Flood warning today August 9 for 6 provinces; These provinces should wait for rain and floods
The Meteorological Organization announced that on the 9th of August, heavy rain and floods are predicted for 6 provinces, so please take the flood warning seriously.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks said: From today to the last days of this week, very heavy monsoon rains in the southern, western, eastern, and central parts of the country will cause flooding of canals and flooding of rivers.

According to the latest news, torrential rains continue today in southern and eastern half of Khuzestan, western and southern half of Kerman, central and southern Sistan and Baluchistan, northern Hormozgan, western and southern half of Fars and eastern half of Bushehr and there is a possibility of flooding.
In addition, the Meteorological Organization added that on the 10th of August, there is a possibility of flooding in the southern half of Sistan and Baluchistan, Fars, Bushehr, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, west and central Kerman, and the eastern part of Khuzestan.
The Meteorological Organization has issued a red warning regarding the occurrence of floods, overflowing rivers, widespread flooding, flooding of houses in susceptible areas, disruption of the transport fleet, reduced visibility, possible bridge destruction and road closures in these areas.
Therefore, all relief and executive bodies such as governorates, municipalities, highways, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Agricultural Jihad are ready to deal with possible damage.
Today, torrential rain, occasional thunder and temporary strong wind are expected in the southern slopes of Alborz in Tehran, Qazvin, Semnan, Zanjan provinces, as well as in Gilan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil and Mazandaran.
It is predicted that rainfall will decrease in the mentioned areas on August 11, and we will have scattered rain in the northern part of the country on Wednesday. Stable weather is expected in most parts of the country on Thursday, August 13.
It should be said that from today, the sky of Tehran province is partly cloudy and sometimes there will be thunderstorms with strong winds, and the maximum and minimum temperatures in Tehran are 31 and 19 degrees.
