With the efforts of Tehran Municipality and with the aim of attracting audiences and cinema lovers, cinema tickets became cheaper. This is a direct reaction to the recent rise in the price of cinema tickets.
Director of the City Image Institute; Majid Akbarshahi announced the implementation of a summer project in the cinemas of Tehran Municipality. It is said that the implementation time of this project will be from the beginning of summer and we are expected to see a reduction in the ticket price of Tehran Municipality cinemas. This project is implemented with the aim of reconciling people with cinemas and attracting more audiences.

With the plan of Tehran Municipality, cinema tickets became cheaper
The managing director of the city image institute, announcing the implementation of the plan to reduce ticket prices in the cinemas of the city image institute from the beginning of summer, said:
We had a successful experience in the high sales of the recent movie “No Prior Appointment”, which was performed with a half-price ticket plan on the birthday of Imam Reza (AS). After this experience, it was decided to make arrangements to attract more audiences in the sub-cinemas.
Majid Akbarshahi added:
Providing the welfare and comfort of the citizens is one of the main duties of the municipal institution, and since the cinemas of the City Image Institute are a subset of this institution, it was decided to reduce the ticket price in the city cinemas on certain days and hours.
He also said in connection with more details of this plan and reduction of ticket prices for Tehran Municipality cinemas that the plan is implemented in such a way that half-price tickets for the first three days of the week (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) in “Mellat”, “Tamasha” and “Raga” will be available until 19:00. After 19:00, for all films in Mellat Campus, the ticket price will be reduced from 45 thousand Tomans to 35 thousand Tomans, and in Raga and Tamasha cinema campuses from 35 thousand Tomans to 25 thousand Tomans.
Akbarshahi further explained that this project, with the aim of attracting the audience, has been implemented in the cinemas of the municipality since the beginning of summer 1401, and on other days of the week, according to the previous routine, ticket prices on Tuesdays are half price and the last three days of the week ( Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) are offered to citizens in full price. The director of the City Image Institute explained:
At the City Image Institute, from the beginning of this year, with the plans we made, we decided to prevent the increase of ticket prices at the Razi Cinema Campus, located in District 11 of Tehran Municipality. Therefore, this cinema, like last year, will offer tickets to its audience and dear citizens at a price of 15,000 Tomans on all days of the week.
Expressing hope for the implementation of these measures, Majid Akbarshahi said:
We hope that with the implementation of these projects, the audience’s acceptance of the films will increase and prosperity will return to the cinemas.
