The great man died on October 5, 2011, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. It is interesting to know that awarding the Medal of Freedom by the President of the United States after the death of people is not a common occurrence, but there has been a history before. This year, in addition to Steve Jobs, this medal will be awarded to other stars such as Denzel Washington, the movie actor, Simone Biles, one of the best gymnasts in America and the world, and Megan Rapinoe, the American soccer player.
