Intel will soon unveil its 13th generation processors. Now, the disclosure of the benchmarks indicates a 60% improvement in the performance of Intel’s 13th generation processors.

Intel will soon release its 13th generation processors called Raptor Lake. will unveil. But two engineering samples of these processors have been recently tested, which indicates a 60% increase in processor performance thanks to being equipped with DDR5 RAM.

Test results of engineering samples of Intel Core i7-13700K and Core i5-13600K processors recently on the Chinese platform Bilibili It’s been published. These processors were tested with DDR4-3600 and DDR5-5200 RAMs, and in some cases we see a significant improvement of the new processors.

60% improvement in the performance of Intel’s 13th generation processors!

These new processors have been tested in several benchmarks and in all of them they have shown a much better performance than their previous generation. But in one of the benchmarks called 7-Zip, the performance of both processors with DDR5 RAM shows a performance increase of more than 160% compared to the previous generation of Intel processors, i.e. Alderlake processors. Of course, the performance of 13th generation processors with DDR4 RAM has also increased, but it is far less than when equipped with DDR5 RAM.

In general, it seems that Core i7-13700K processors have experienced a 30-35% increase in performance compared to their previous generation. For the Core i5-13600K processor, this performance improvement is apparently close to 40%.

Like Alder Lake, Raptor Lake processors have a hybrid architecture. The tested Core i7 processor uses 8 powerful cores and 8 low-power cores with a maximum frequency of 5.3 GHz. The Core i5 processor is equipped with 6 powerful cores and 8 low-power cores and has a maximum frequency of 5.1 GHz. These processors use 24 and 20 threads, respectively.

Finally, it seems that these results will encourage users to buy DDR5 RAM more than ever. Of course, subject to the price reduction of these RAMs. The new generation of Intel processors named Raptor Lake will probably be introduced on October 6, 1401 and will be released on the market by October 25.
